New Board Appointments

At the Archways Board Meeting in December, Simone Harney and Ciara Ní Fhloinn were appointed as Directors.

Simone Harney

Simone will also sit on our Governance & HR Committee.

Simone currently holds the position of Head of Human Resources for the Central Bank of Ireland, with a strong focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing in the workplace. 

Prior to this she held various senior HR roles in the healthcare, medical device and technology assessment sectors. 

Simone’s qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Commerce from University College Galway, a Masters in Human Resource Management from University of Limerick, a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland, and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Corporate Governance Institute in Dublin.

Ciara Ní Fhloinn

Ciara will sit on our Strategic Planning & Services Committee.

Ciara currently holds the position of Flexible Learning Manager with SOLAS, the state agency that oversees the Further Education & Training sector in Ireland.

She brings over 15 years of experience in governance, public policy, and delivering digital services in both the private and public sector. Her focus is education and training, and the transformative effects it can have on the lives of individuals, families, and their communities. 

Ciara has successfully led large-scale national and international initiatives that address complex social issues, including the development of strategic frameworks for digital learning and community engagement.

She holds post-graduate qualifications in public policy, law & technology and design thinking. She is passionate about human centred design in public services & finding solutions at the intersection of technology, desirability and feasibility.
