Nessan Vaughan appointed to the Board of Archways

Archways are delighted to announce that Nessan Vaughan has joined the Archways Board.

Nessan worked over 30 years in the public service at the National Manpower Service, Department of Labour and FÁS. For most of this period, he was working on the provision of Employment Services to jobseekers, vocational guidance and administering labour market programmes. In the latter part of his career, he held a senior national policy position with responsibility for policy relating to the dual-stranded National Employment Service.

Nessan left the public service to work exclusively in the Community & Voluntary sector, as a Volunteer. He has chaired several organisations in the sector and is currently Chair of Reach Deaf Services, Lourdes Youth & Community Services, The Employment Project (TEN), Northside Partnership, the Society of St Vincent de Paul’s National Social Justice Committee and of the Vincentian Minimum Essential Standard of Living (MESL) Research Centre Committee.

Nessan will also sit on our Governance & HR Committee.
