At an event held in Belfast in December, the impact of the Changing Lives Initiative was recognised,
SEUPB (Special European Union Programmes Body) held a special event to mark their 25th anniversary to recognise the huge impact PEACE and INTERREG funding has had on communities across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties.
The event saw SEUPB, its partners and project beneficiaries come together to consider and discuss the progress to date, hear first-hand from those at a grassroots level for whom funding has had a transformational impact within communities, and to also consider the regional impact of peace building and reconciliation over the past 25 years.
One of the participants on the Changing Lives Initiative that was funded through the INTERREG VA programme, Siobhan Haughey, featured in a video discussing the impact the programme had on her family.
